**SPECIAL NOTE:  Angeles Crest Highway is closed from the bottom of the hill to Red Box/Mt. Wilson road.  You can access the camp by the alternate route shown below.  Travel time is approximately one hour from the 210 freeway up to the camp. 

Directions to Angeles Crest Christian Camp
via Oro Vista & Upper Big Tujunga

 
     Take the 210 freeway, exit on Sunland Blvd. and go east for 0.6 miles.  Turn left onto Oro Vista (signal light).  At approximately the 1.0 mile mark, Oro Vista curves to the right and turns into Big Tujunga Canyon Road (you'll see a riverbed on your left hand side).  Go approximately 11.5 miles on Big Tujunga Canyon Road which will end at Angeles Forest Highway (to know you're on the right road, about half way you'll come across the Big Tujunga Fire Station at Vogel Road). 
      Turn left on Angeles Forest Highway and go 4.5 miles to Upper Big Tujunga Road.  Turn right onto Upper Big Tujunga Road.  Go approximately 9 miles on Upper Big Tujunga Road to Angeles Crest Highway (Highway 2).  Turn left onto Angeles Crest Highway and go approximately 10 miles to Sulphur Springs Road (look for the sign that says "Organized Camps").  Before you get to Sulphur Springs Road you'll pass the Chilao Campgrounds and then Newcomb's Ranch Restaurant which is on your left hand side.   Approximately one mile past the restaurant, turn left onto Sulfur Springs Road and follow the road until you see the entrance sign to Angeles Crest Christian Camp.
       **Note:  There aren't any gas stations once you get on Oro Vista/Big Tujunga Road all the way to camp.  Also, there is no cell phone service from Angeles Forest Highway all the way to camp.
