Our Mother/Daughter Retreats are a highlight for many moms and their daughters. It is a time to worship Christ together and spend a little time away from the hustle and bustle of school or work. Mom, plan on putting this trip on your calendar and enjoy the great outdoors with your daughter for one of these special weekends to remember.

Date: Mother/Daughter I - May 21-23, 2010
Mother/Daughter II - June 4-6, 2010
Cost: Mothers - $99.00
Jr. High & High School daughters - $80
Elementary age daughters - $70
Time: The retreat will begin with check-in on Friday evening between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m. Dinner will not be served on Friday night, but a snack will be provided and the camp snack bar will be open. The camp will conclude on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
MOTHER / DAUGHTER I - MAY 21 - 23, 2010
Retreat Coordinator: Vicky Stevens
 Vicky Stevens will be our Mother/Daughter Retreat Coordinator. Vicky currently serves Angeles Crest Christian Camp as the full time Office Manager. a position she's held for the past 15 years. She has been involved with Angeles Crest over the years as a camper, volunteer worker, camp counselor and as a camp dean. Vicky has a great love for Angeles Crest and a lot of experience in leading camps for moms and daughters. Vicky's positive attitude, creative thinking and excellent leadership combine to provide a fantastic experience at our Mother/Daughter retreats.
Guest Speaker: Fayanna Worrell
 Fayanna has been speaking for 16 years at churches, camps and conferences. She looks forward to sharing with women of all ages and her greatest goal is to give others the message of hope that is found in Jesus Christ. Fayanna is the wife to her wonderful husband, Ted, and has 3 amazing children, Aubree who is 18, Nick who is 14, and Brody who is 12. She lives in beautiful Southern California and loves it. In her spare time when she isn't running around with her kids, she loves to tend to her roses, work at her kid's school, and grab a Starbucks with anyone who wants to. Fayanna is looking forward to being with the mothers and daughters at Angeles Crest and it is her prayer to inspire and challenge each to think hard about what really matters most: their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Worship Leader: SarahBeth Hooper
 SarahBeth is blessed to work as the Worship Coordinator in the children's department at Friends Church of Yorba Linda. She writes "music has always been one of the major passions in my life. In college, I was given the opportunity to be the Worship Coordinator of the chapel services at Biola University. It was also a privilege to lead worship at First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton throughout my college years." SarahBeth has also served as the Children's Music Dean, or "Music Mama", for five summers at Forest Home Christian Conference Center. This past summer she recorded her own children's album and remarks how "God has poured out His goodness on me and allowed this dream of my heart to come true!" Both moms and daughters will love SarahBeth's godly spirit and her love for worshipping the Lord!

Recreation Activities
In addition to our pool with two slides and a diving board, there are plenty of hiking trails in the area, "The Hut" (a Baja Beach store & snack shack), a sand volleyball court, the newly refurbished basketball court, ping pong tables, foosball tables, crafts, Frizbee golf, a climbing wall, the "trampoline thing", archery, BB guns, "Isaiah's Perch", Zip Line," and Digglers (the latest mountain scooters)!.
What to Bring
Our weather at camp is usually a reflection of the Southern California weather. However, the evenings can be cool. Bring recreation and hiking clothes for the day and jackets for the evening. You will need a sleeping bag, pillow, wash cloth, toiletries, towel, flashlight, Bible, etc.
"Camperships" Available
Our greatest desire is to minister to people through our camp program. If you have a special financial need, we have Camperships (1/3 off the cost of camp) available. Request for all Camperships must be in writing and must be submitted to the camp with the registration form 10 days before the camp. Rules for acceptance and participation at an ACCC program are the same for everyone regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap.
